It all started when...

COMING SOON!!!  Hi!  Thank you for visiting my site.  My name is Dr. Amanda Price, a chronic disease fighter both personally and also professionally as a university professor and researcher with a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology. I look forward to telling my autoimmune disease diagnosis story and sharing my adventures in leading an active and fulfilling life, and most importantly providing resources for my fellow chronic disease sufferers.  This website will contain a personal blog, modified exercise recommendations, inspirational content, and summaries of the scientific literature related to autoimmune diseases translated to plain language. This site is a work in progress, apparently it takes a good bit of work to set up a website compared to a blog.  While you are waiting, visit my old blog, "A Runner's Life: Redefined," that chronicles my journey through bilateral ankle reconstruction surgeries due to posterior tibial tendon disorder/dysfunction (PTTD), which had a rheumatological underpinning that was not recognized at the time.  My life is more complicated now, much more so since I started that blog, due to a recent diagnosis of a seronegative spondyloarthropathy, which has prompted me to start this website.
